What is Master Packager?
As an application packager providing packaging services to other organizations, I’ve had unique experience. I had to package applications that other packagers couldn’t figure out how to install silently for mass deployment systems. Application packaging, to me, was exciting—I felt a bit like Mr. Robot, a hacker who could see how others had developed their applications and determine what needed to be changed to make them install and run based on business needs. To some, what I did seemed impossible—something only a master in the field, with an extensive base of experience and knowledge, could accomplish. Through years of trial and error packaging for others, I became a Master Packager.
