New features

Master Packager

• Add predefined custom action to install and uninstall drivers. MPDEV-2423
  We have a lengthy blog post on how to handle driver installations like these.
  Now you can choose our new predefined custom actions that will silently install the driver as well as extract and import driver certificate. All what is needed to do is choosing the driver .inf file. Installing drivers shouldn’t be hard.
  
  

Master Packager Toolbox

• Add support for creating and extracting .wim files MPDEV-2391
  Creating and extracting .WIM files now is possible directly from Master Packager Toolbox.
  
• Upgrade UI framework from WPF to WinUI3 MPDEV-2407
  We moved from WPF framework to more modern WinUI. The main visible difference for users are the Install apps table view that support column filters.
  
• Use OS date/time formatting for Installed Apps MPDEV-2472
• Add support to read Intune app categories from PSADT project saved by Master Wrapper
  MPDEV-2458
• Add support for Windows 11 23H2 as the minimum OS version MPDEV-2481

Master Wrapper

• Add support to set Intune app categories MPDEV-2427
  When wrapping application into PSAppDeployToolkit with Master Wrapper it is now possible to selecting the Intune category already in packaging process. It will then be used when uploading the package to Intune using Master Packager Toolbox automatically.
  
• Add support for BlockExecution parameter for welcome dialog MPDEV-2465
  Adding Block execution function for PSAppDeployToolkit is easy as switch - on / off.
  

Bugs fixed

Master Packager

• Remove HKCU registries from all users custom action does not remove HKCU\Software\Classes correctly on 64bit OS. MPDEV-2408
• Files with corrupted or invalid timestamps cannot be installed after building .cab files MPDEV-2421

Master Packager Toolbox

• Only first 100 user groups are loaded for Intune group assignments
  MPDEV-2409
• Application keeps lock on the .intunwin file after upload

Master Wrapper

• Loading a specific .exe installer in general information causes a crash MPDEV-2412
• Setting invalid Trusted Signing settings causes a crash MPDEV-2441

Known issues

Master Packager Toolbox - When “Show connection settings before adding a tenant” is set to Yes in settings, adding tenant will fail. As a workaround: 1) Go to Settings page 2) In the Intune connection settings section set “Show connection settings before adding a tenant” to No 3) You can set the AppID you want to use in the Settings page, then go to Intune page and Add Tenant.
