Main Actions

This is the Master Wrappers’ main section that defines what should be installed.
Add or drag and drop installation files to Install, Uninstall, and Repair sections. These will be filled automatically when an MSI is loaded in General section.

  • Install – Actions performed during installation. This section typically contains the main installation command
  • Uninstall – Actions performed during uninstallation. Use this section to define commands that remove the application or its components.
  • Repair – Actions performed during repair. This is used to restore or fix existing installations without performing a full uninstall and reinstall.

Automatic EXE installer detection

When an EXE installer is added to the Install, Uninstall, or Repair section, Master Wrapper automatically detects the installer framework and pre-fills silent installation parameters.

Supported installer frameworks include:

• Inno Setup
• Install4j
• Install Builder (BitRock)
• InstallShield with embedded MSI
• Setup Factory
• NSIS
• WiX Toolset
• Squirrel
